Part of what me job is here in Colorado and Wyoming is to set up telemetry and automation systems for the wells, seperators, tanks, etc. They are set up with an IP address so wherever in the world you are, if you have the addy and passwords, you can fuck with it... hehehe. Ooops, did I say that out loud? Seriously, you can shut the well in, or set it to open at certain times, or whatever your heart desires. Perty neat system if I do say so myself.
Can you see my big ass hanging out in the breeze at the top of these damn things setting up the antennas? This one is 35 feet high. One of the shorter ones actually. And yes, no matter how deep you set it or with how much cement, when you are the top and when the wind blows, they do sway a bit and creek a bit. Kinda fun though.
