it had not occurred to me that irc.thehypertribe.net doesn't resolve to the new IP (24.58.63.130)

I'm pretty sure the reason I was banned, had to do with "the kid" not getting his +o - especially since the kick message read "Op us sometime banned"

FYI:
fiend banned sauron from chat for one day because when ever the server would get rebooted sauron would reconnect first and he NEVER bothered to op anyone else. (I couldn't really argue that with him)

fiend has been nice enough to try to keep his auto-op function set to op the few folks who log in there regularly (which is just something we do in #hypertribe for some reason.)

anyway, sauron hasn't been banned in there for along time can rejoin whenever he wants.

but I should mention that the ppl who did chat in #hypertribe regularly now log into #wota, despite the fact that at least 1/2 of the time they are only chatting with one another anyway...

BTW: I only go to #wota for the hot wimmenz!!!!

I log onto IRC when I wanna get drunk and fight with other (usually-drunk) people. It is the win for that purpose. Also, discussion of food.
